Principal’s Messsage

Education is main ladder for the overall development of every individual. Along with his own development an individual can help the family, society & nation when value added education is made available. The Educational Uplift Society which has started Husna Abdul Malik Maddu Women’s Degree College of Arts, Science & Commerce in the year 2002-2003. This educational institution is trying to provide basic education to the girls from weaker section of the society at their best. The undergraduate courses such as B.A, B.Sc. & B.Com are run successfully based quality education along with physical & mental development of the students.

A team of well experienced faculty take personal care of the students is the positive strength of our college. This is only possible because the teachers: student ratio in our college is up to the standard. Our teachers are taking care of the students & motivating them to participate in co-curricular & extra- curricular activities throughout the year. Our non-teaching staff also is very cooperative & helpful tirelessly to the students.

Our results at T.Y.B.A., B.Sc. & B.Com. of the academic year 2016-17 are good. The results of the final year examination held in the month of April 2017 are as T.Y.B.A. 92.86%, T.Y.B.Sc. 90% & T.Y.B.Com. 63.33%.  

During the academic 2017-18, we have organised many workshops such as Life Internal Trust (International Yoga Day), MET (Bhujbal Knowledge Centre), Prabodhan Bahudeshiya Sanstha, Consumer Guidance Society of India, T.I.M.E. PVT Ltd etc.

Shaikh Afreen Abid (F.Y.B.Sc.) got a Consolation Prize in Science Project held at intercollegiate Competition in G. M. Momin College (Bhiwandi). Siddiqui Zeenat Nizamuddin participated in Essay Writing Competition held at Karimi Library. Shaikh Safa, Mulla Anam, Shaikh Asma (S.Y.B.Sc.), Rais Afsheen (F.Y.B.Sc.) participated in Science Project Exhibition held at Birla College. Tiwale Afsha & Shaikh Tehreen (T.Y.B.Sc.) participated in Power Point Presentation held at EUREKA 2017 in G. M. Momin College (Bhiwandi).

We are happy to record that our college Management has taken decision to start new subjects. Therefore as per the requirement & interest of the student some career oriented subjects such as Geography, History, Chemistry & English will be started from the academic year 2018-19 at T.Y. level.

It gives me a great pleasure to record my sincere thanks for the active & positive support of all the managing council members of the Educational Uplift Society. They are ever ready to extend their moral & financial support for the better welfare & overall progress of teaching, Non- teaching & students.

In near future, we are aiming to start some new self-financing & job oriented courses to satisfy the demands of the society.
